For Fans Of: Asking Alexandria, Woe Is Me, Make Me Famous
Just recently I stumbled upon this band via another music blog that I frequent. I have an affinity for bands that incorporate electronics, synth, and keys in an upbeat high energy atmosphere. Limitless has some very strong audio with songs that showcase the band's ability to touch on most of the genre spectrum. Screaming, singing, chugging, melodic harmonies, and dance/whimsical riffs are only a few of the elements that Crown The Empire incorporate. The album hits a high point with the middle three songs followed by the Limitless ft. Dennis Shaforostov of Make Me Famous. The sung vocals can be compared to the early Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has A Body Count stylings of Sonny Moore, but with more soul and the screams are almost reminiscent of Travis Richter's, but heavier. There isn't too much information about Crown The Empire that I have been able to find. Right now Limitless is dominating my iTunes playlist and is quite enjoyable. Anyone that likes the electronic influenced Post Hardcore will definitely like the songs on this CD.
