The growth between Trust In Fear Reborn is immense to say the least.  Admittedly, at first, I wasn't a huge fan of Las Vegas based This Romantic Tragedy's new full length.  Their EP Trust In Fear had me hooked as far as their music is concerned.  The catchy dance/electronic riffs littered with breakdowns what enough to keep my attention.  In addition, on top of This Romantic Tragedy's EP came a massive line up change.  I was truly skeptical of the music they would produce considering the shift in members.  After giving the album a couple listens all the way through I couldn't stop.  The electronic influence moved to the back burner and This Romantic Tragedy's new sound explodes into the air with a resonance similar to pop punk.  The breakdowns are still there and they maintain the heaviness of their previous albums while even possibly bringing it to the next level.  To me what makes this CD is the catchy guitar work and the newly appropriated vocal work of Sean Neumann of Michigan based Call It Karma.  You will find yourself singing along and rewinding songs just to hear certain parts over and over again.  Evidence in their growth can also be found in their lyrical work straying from the standard girl riddled drama laced woes.  They sing about everything from friends & family, betrayal, innocence, destruction and what lies ahead.  This album may not excite you at first, but persist through, the lyrics will catch you in a web.
