Anyone who says that there isn't anything in Michigan is mostly right.  Aside from the Red Wings, University of Michigan, the film industry, and exploding underground music scene that isn't so underground anymore that assessment would be accurate.  The list of bands from Michigan is constantly growing.  Apparently, since the kids there don't have much to do other than go to shows, most of them probably decided they can make music because they want to hear something different.  And it's amazing that kids younger and younger are making music that is worth listening to.  It really makes me question what I was doing with my life at that point in time. This five song EP is enjoyable if nothing else.  Personally, for the more seasoned listeners out there the album gives you something to look forward to from this band.  The album is good, but isn't completely there yet.  On the other hand I keep listening to it and maybe that's because they recently released a new CD.  It's important when listening to music to give a band an all around listen.  I for one am excited about they're new EP, but have yet to listen.  The one major thing that I hope is maintained is Sean's high vocal range.  It's nothing short of talented and it makes you wish you could reach those falsettos.  This EP has that raw feeling that most bands starting out have due to lack of experience in the studio etc.  That 'rawness' humanizes the band and makes them more real which is great.  But one can only hope that they mature and bring something bigger and better to the table!  Check them out!
