Most people who live in Michigan says that there isn't anything going on there.  This statement is mostly true with the exception of the Red Wings, the newly budding film industry, the University of Michigan [HOLLER!], and the incredible music scene.  One of the major reasons I decided to go to U of M was who Michigan has been producing amazing musicians and bands.  So here's a list of bands that will own your face and are based out of the Great Lake State.
