In Other Words is another up and coming band emerging from the blossoming New Jersey music scene. Patience is a six song EP that fails to disappoint the listener. Proof of this can be found in there recent signing to Tragic Hero Records. Each track on this CD contains a certain energy that is marked between catchy choruses and raw guttural screams. Generally, the album is upbeat and maintains an air of toe tapping and head bobbing. Here and there the songs are peppered with breakdowns to keep the heavy end of the spectrum satisfied. I can't help, but hear some of the early Senses Fail in their music. In Other Words manages to bring something to the table that makes their EP worth listening. Lyrically, the album isn't overly innovative, but does enough to break away from being straight up predictable. One listen to this album and you'll be adding one of In Other Words songs to your most played list.
