It is somewhat rare to find CD's that are solid from start to finish especially in this genre. Kingdoms is cohesive and enjoyable from track one to track twelve. Each song hooks you at full volume and will have you singing out loud in the car. Broadway is a nice change up especially if your really into the heavier side of this music scene. Upbeat and high energy are just a few words I would use to describe this album. The songs Broadway have written at least on this album are almost anthem-like in the sense that most people can relate to what they write about. The vocal style coupled with the instrumental work are so complimentary they form a unified sound that make you want to hear more. Screamed vocals are included and much appreciated, but not completely necessary for this album. They use them as a way to accentuate certain lyrics which does create a powerful emphasis during different songs. The best part of this album is the way the listener can relate to the lyrics, this element makes the music more personal. Although I look forward to the music to come from Broadway they have had a member leave which could potentially negatively or positively effect their music. They have set the bar quite high with Kingdoms and have their own very large shoes to fill.
