New Jersey is a hot bed of a variety of talented musicians and The Air I Breathe is no exception of that rule.  Their album Great Faith In Fools is amazing from start to finish and it will assault your eardrums and your body when listened to at full volume.  There is not a song that you won't enjoy.  Even for their original fans they have rerecorded a few of their songs from their Anthema EP.  It is hard to believe that this album is their first full length considering the skills they possess.  Musically their most captivating element is their technical guitar work.  With speed, precision, and face melting sweeps The Air I Breathe energizes each song without negating the brutal heavy breakdowns that we all know and love so much.  This ten song album is relentless and the lyrics mirror the instrumental devastation.  Do not worry,  the melodic tones are not forgotten and the sonic change up between all these elements gives enough variety  that you will not be left thinking that any song is receptive in form or sound.  Their sound is consistent and haunting.  This album is easily one of my recent favorites and exhibits very high levels of talent and energy.  Your replay button will never be the same as you poke and prod to hear more.  Buy this album, you will not be disappointed.
