I haven't heard much of anything coming out of Oklahoma, but this band is the best example of the music that the state can provide. The best songs on this CD are back to back and they are No Bleeding On The Carpet and One Of Two Ways. Overall this EP is a well rounded, enjoyable 5 song CD from start to finish. This becomes even more apparent when taken into account that the album was self produced and self released. As far as the Post Hardcore scene they fit in well, with their most notable feature being the clean vocals. The clean vocalist definitely knows how to flex and accentuate the lyrics at certain points, upping the catchy nature of the way he sings. What detracts from his vocal abilities is the use of auto tune. Don't get me wrong auto tune can be used appropriately in this genre, but some bands get carried away and honestly, this band doesn't need to over produce the already solid vocals. Their breakdowns coupled with the screamed vocals gives this album the essential heaviness that any music lover of the genre would enjoy. From time to time they surprise you with a synth accent to give the breakdowns and riffs a little more energy. This band is on a path to set themselves apart from the sea of endless Post Hardcore and I am excited to see what they do next!
