Have you ever looked for music by search "Top 10 Electro Breakdowns" on Youtube? Well believe it or not it actually pretty awesome if you need a quick fix of some new music. Trust me these videos are everywhere on Youtube. Basically you'll be listening to 5-10 of breakdowns and who doesn't like that. This band is from Denmark and they pack quite a punch with this 5 song EP. The music is pretty basic as far as the whole electro/screamo genre is concerned, but that doesn't me its any less enjoyable. They do what they have to do to categorized themselves in this genre and they do it well. The screamed vocals are very similar to that of War From a Harlot's Mouth, guttural, loud, and hitting the higher range of the vocal spectrum. Every once in awhile you can tell that they boys aren't from the states as you can hear the accent in the vocalist's voice. It gives the music a unique sound. They keep the guitar breakdowns coming and the synth keeps making you want to dance. One key point that sets Eskimo Callboy apart is there lyrical work. The fact is that music in this genre can lyrically be repetitive. There's not many "screamo" bands out there that talk about partying, having a good time, sex, and getting crunk. Believe it or not kids who follow this genre do like to do all those things. So next time your partying with all your friends who enjoy this scene, crank up that volume and listen to Eskimo Callboy!
